Methodist Foster Care has published the The Louisiana Foster Caregiver Mentor Program manual to encourage healthy, effective volunteer peer mentor relationships among foster caregivers and to help experienced foster caregivers share support and tips with new foster caregivers.
The Louisiana Foster Caregiver Mentor Program formalizes the information, documents, and procedures which Methodist Foster Care has found to be helpful in creating and maintaining healthy, effective mentoring relationships among foster caregivers.
